Multi-faceted creative thinker
Artist, lawyer and visionary, Pía appreciates beauty and excellence in all areas of life. Always innovative, she is able to find patterns and connections between seemingly disparate phenomena. Things can sometimes get chaotic in her creative frenzy, but our out-of-the-box thinker always ends up bringing order and perspective to that apparent chaos – and new ideas to life.
Pía is also a great educator who believes in the power of humanity to change for the better. She is passionate about finding new, creative approaches and methods to bring about positive and transformative behavior in people.
Currently, Pía is a faculty member of the University for Peace, where she teaches human rights and international law. She has ample teaching experience and has created several specialized courses on human rights, climate change and sustainable development, topics on which she is passionate. Previous working experience includes teaching at Bonn University and working as a junior research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg, Germany. She is also a founding partner of Studio Macondo, an art studio and gallery in Bonn, Germany.
