Line seeker

Alberto is a seeker, looking at the world with fresh eyes and from all angles, yearning to uncover what is already there, below the surface. He believes in people empowerment and that each one of us can change the world around us, even with small actions. Alberto is also a free spirit: if you cannot find him, he is most probably riding some waves, climbing beautiful peaks, or running cross-country (literally!).

Passionate about constant learning, sharing knowledge, clear communication and teamwork, Alberto is always looking for the best solution to a particular project or challenge, and motivating his teammates to accomplish goals that will increase their expertise and quality of work.

Alberto is a software engineer with 15 years’ experience in the field. His specialty is the development of rich front-end applications that take the user as the center piece of the conversation on what, how and when to build it. He has worked on many areas, from desktop, mobile sites to in-house projects, consulting for small and big companies. He focuses mainly on the front-end, without fear of working on back-end technologies.

He has a bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica and a master’s Degree in Digital Information with a specialty in usability from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Spain.
